Women of Value Southern Africa

Empowering Women, Transforming Communities!

About Us
Women of Value Southern Africa (WOVSA) is a Pan-African Social Enterprise, registered as a Non-Profit Company in 2012. Operating across Africa, WOVSA focuses on two key pillars:
  1. Ecosystem Enterprise & Supplier Development Incubator Programs for all sectors.
  2. Women in Tourism Enterprise Development Program, empowering women in the tourism value chain.
In 2016, WOVSA introduced Vision 2020 & Beyond, addressing sustainability and growth challenges for women owned businesses.
WOVSA partners with governments, private sectors, and international organizations to deliver impactful programs. It represents South Africa’s women business associations at the ITC Continental Women Business Associations Network. WOVSA has also contributed to the UNWTO Women Empowerment Regional Report and participated in the Inaugural Regional Women in Tourism Congress held in 2019 in Ghana, advancing women’s empowerment in the tourism sector.
As the custodian of WITSA (SADC Women in Tourism Association), WOVSA drives transformative programs for women entrepreneurs in tourism and related industries within the SADC region, encouraging them to unlock opportunities within the regional tourism value chain.
